MALA VITA/L’ORACOLO. Wexford Festival Opera. 2018

"The star is the Spanish tenor Sergio Escobar as the murdered San-Lui in L’oracolo and Vito in Mala vita. His effortless lyricism was of a kind not heard here since the young Joseph Calleja in the early 2000s, but Escobar is already a polished artist, phrasing beautifully up to climactic high notes."
