“Rigoletto” featuring tenor Celso Albelo at Naples’ Teatro di San Carlo

Tenor Celso Albelo will play once again the role of Duca in Giuseppe Verdi’s “Rigoletto” at Naples’s Teatro di San Carlo. Beginning on May 17th, there will be four performances of this work by Verdi. The show has been produced by the Fondazione Arena di Verona, featuring stage direction, costumes, and lighting by Arnaud Bernard. Pier Giorgio Morandi will be conducting the Orchestra e Coro del Teatro di San Carlo. On May 13th and 14th, the tenor will perform as a soloist in Gioachino Rossini’s “Petite messe solennelle” at Vienna’s famous music hall Musikverein. Daniele Gatti will be conducting the Orchestre National de France.
