On December 27th, Malaga’s Cathedral will house Georg Friedrich Händel’s oratorio entitled “The Messiah”, featuring baritone Damian del Castillo as a soloist. This is one of the most important and best-known sacred music, whose premiere took place in London. The show will feature the Coro de la Comunidad de Madrid, Coro de Opera de Málaga, and Joven Orquesta Barroca de Andalucía (JOBA), conducted by British Michael Thomas. That same concert will also be staged on December 29th at Teatro Auditorio San Lorenzo de El Escorial, featuring only the Coro de la Comunidad de Madrid, as well as the above-mentioned orchestra and conductor.
