Verdi's masterpiece Aida, an opera in four acts with Italian libretto by Antonio Ghislanzoni, will be staged by the Royal Opera House Muscat from September 14th to 17th. The production features outstanding performers, such as the American tenor Gregory Kunde, who will embody Radamès, the Captain of the Guard. The orchestra and chorus will be conducted by Gianandrea Noseda, who received an International Opera Award in 2016, as did Kunde. This staging, which comes from the Teatro Regio Torino, will be directed by the renowned stage director William Friedkin.
