Toulouse’s Théâtre du Capitole presents a new production of Verdi’s “I due Foscari,” featuring tenor Francisco Corujo in the role of Barbarigo. Staged directed by Stefano Viziolli, it will be conducted by Gianluigi Gelmetti, with the Choer du Capitole and Orchestre Nacional du Capitole. There will be five performances, from May 16th to the 25th, and the show on May 23rd will be broadcast live by Radio Classique. The young singer received high acclaim for his performances as Edgardo in the opera “Lucia di Lammermoor” in Tel Aviv and various other cities in Italy. Francisco Corujo recorded his first performance for Play Classics, with famous pieces by Paolo Tosti.
