Vasily Petrenko will conduct the Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal performing works by Garant, Korngold, Schumann and Brahms

On February 22nd, Maestro Petrenko will stand before the Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal in a concert with the following works: Plages, by Serge Garant, Violin Concerto in D major, op. 35 by Korngold, with Blake Pouliot as soloist, and Symphony no. 1 in C minor, op. 68 by Brahms. And on February 23rd and 25th, leading the same orchestra, Vasily Petrenko will conduct the first and last of the aforementioned works, plus Schumann's Piano Concerto in A minor, op. 54, with Javier Perianes as soloist. The concerts will take place in the Maison Symphonique of Montréal at 8 p.m.
Soon thereafter, on March 5th, Maestro Petrenko will conduct the Radio Filharmonisch Orkest at the Concertgebouw of Amsterdam, with a programme consisting of the following pieces: Glazunov's Violin Concerto in A minor, op. 82, with the soloist Maria Milstein, and Rachmaninov's Third Symphony in A minor, op. 44.
