Vasily Petrenko with the Philharmonia Orchestra

Vasily Petrenko will conduct the Philharmonia Orchestra in two concerts that will be housed by London’s Royal Festival Hall and Coventry’s Warwick Arts Centre, on April 23rd and 24th. The show will feature another Russian performer — pianist Nikolai Lugansky. The program, which will be entirely dedicated to Russian composers, will include Anotoli Liadov’s “The Enchanted Lake, Op. 62”, Tchaikovsky’s “Concert for Piano No. 1”, and Prokofiev’s“Symphony No. 5”.
