Verdi’s “La Traviata” at Las Palmas’ Teatro Pérez Galdós, featuring Bass Francisco Crespo

The Las Palmas Opera inaugurates its 47th Season on February 23rd with a new production of Verdi’s “La Traviata,” featuring Bass Francisco Crespo in the role of Doctor Grenvil. This opera will be the singer’s first performance at Las Palmas’ season. This new ACO production has stage direction by Mario Pontiggia. Four shows will be performed at Las Palmas’ Teatro Pérez Galdós until March 1st. Alessandro Vitiello will conduct Las Palmas’ Coro de la Ópera and Gran Canary’s Orquesta Filarmónica. The singer’s upcoming performances include Joaquin Gaztambide’s “Catalina” at Madrid’s Teatro de la Zarzuela.
