Andreas Spering conducts Le nozze di Figaro at the Royal Danish Opera


The Royal Danish Opera will soon present Le nozze di Figaro, an opera buffa in four acts with music by Mozart and Italian libretto by Lorenzo da Ponte. It is being staged from February 28th to April 28th with Maestro Spering as conductor. Stage direction is by the highly-acclaimed theatre director Elisa Kragerup, who, with Le nozze de Figaro, makes the leap into the world of opera. Andreas Spering will be leading the Royal Danish Orchestra and the Royal Danish Opera Chorus. The cast of this production includes Palle Knudsen in the role of Count Almaviva, Sine Bundgaard as Countess Almaviva, Anke Briegel as Susanna and Henning Von Sculman in the role of Figaro.
