Andreas Spering to conduct Mozart with his orchestra Capella Augustina


Capella Augustina will be performing Mozart in concerts programmed for May 13th and 14th at Augustusburg Castle. Leading the musical formation, which is the resident orchestra of the Brühl Palace Concerts, will be Andreas Spering, its founder. With a repertoire ranging from Baroque to early 20th century pieces, this group incorporates the principles of historical performance and uses period instruments.
At the May 13th and 14th concerts audiences will have the chance to listen to the following works by the Salzburg composer: Symphony no. 15 in G Major KV 124, Concierto no. 4 in D major K 218 for violin and orchestra, with the soloist Chouchane Siranossian, and Symphony no. 36 in C Major KV 425-Linz.
