Andreas Spering will conduct the Salzburg Mozarteum Orchestra at the Festival de Música de Canarias


For its 2017 edition, the Festival de Música de Canarias has programmed two concerts with the Salzburg Mozarteum Orchestra, which will be conducted by Maestro Andreas Spering. The concerts will take place on February 3rd, at the Auditorio Adán Martín of Tenerife, and on February 4th, at the Auditorio Alfredo Kraus of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. At both, Haydn's Symphony No. 26 Lametatione will be performed in the first part of the programme while Requiem Mass in D minor K 626 by Mozart will be performed in the second part. The soloists of this work will be the soprano Laura Nicorescu, the mezzo Dara Davinova, the tenor Christian Zenker and the bass Günther Haumer. The Vienna Chamber Chorus will also be taking part in these concerts.
