Francisco Corujo sings in Don Giovanni in A Coruña

In 1798, A Coruña became the first Spanish city to premiere what many consider to be “the opera of all operas”, Mozart's Don Giovanni. Now, as part of the celebrations marking the 250th anniversary of the arrival of opera to this city, on September 13th a new production of Mozart's masterpiece will be premiered. This new production is a creation of Carlos Saura and in it the tenor Francisco Corujo will sing the role of Don Ottavio. The premiere will take place at the city's Teatro Colón and the performance will be repeated on September 15th. Leading the Sinfónica de Galicia and the Coro Gaos will be Maestro Miguel Ángel Gómez Martínez.
In the near future we will hear Francisco Corujo in Marina, a piece programmed by the Amigos Canarios de la Zarzuela.
