Gregory Kunde will be “Peter Grimes” in Rome, with the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia and Pappano

To inaugurate the new season, Rome’s Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia presents a concert version of Benjamin Britten’s most famous opera, “Peter Grimes”, on the year of the celebration of the centennial of his birth (1913-1976). Tenor Gregory Kunde plays the leading part, along with an outstanding cast, adding this role to his repertoire. The Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia’s Orchestra and Choir will be conducted by Maestro Antonio Pappano. Three concerts will be held on October 26th, 28th and 30th at Rome’s L’Auditorium Parco Della Musica in the Sala Santa Cecilia.
