Gregory Kunde will sing Verdi's Requiem, with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra led by Zubin Mehta


From July 4th to 14th the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra has programmed a series of performances of Verdi's Requiem, with Maestro Zubin Mehta conducting. The concerts, which will take place in Haifa, Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, will feature the voice of American tenor Gregory Kunde. Performing with him will be Mary Elizabeth Williams (soprano), Olesya Petrova (mezzosoprano) and Oleg Tsybulko (bass), all accompanied by the Gary Bertini Israeli Choir, the Jerusalem Academy Chamber Choir and the Munich Bach Choir.

Gregory Kunde's upcoming engagements also include Otello with the Royal Opera House of London, on tour in Japan, and Turandot at the Gran Teatre del Liceu of Barcelona.
