Jeroboám Tejera to sing in Rigoletto in Menorca and in Turandot in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria


This May 25th and 27th the Teatre Principal de Maó of Menorca will be staging Verdi's Rigoletto, as part of its 48th opera season, organized by the Menorcan Opera Foundation and the Friends of the Opera of Maó. The production includes the voice of Jeroboám Tejera in the role of Count Monterone. The Canary Island-born bass will be sharing the stage with Amartuvshin Enkhbat in the role of Rigoletto, Ivan Magri as Duke of Mantua, Jessica Nuccio as Gilda, Antonio di Matteo as Sparafucile, among others. They will all be accompanied by the Cor d’Amics de l’Òpera and the Orquestra Simfònica de Balears, under the baton of Matteo Beltrami and the stage direction of Massimo Gasparón.
Soon thereafter Jeroboám Tejera will participate in the Turandot scheduled by the Canary Island Friends of the Opera for June 12th, 14th and 16th. The well-known Puccini opera will be stage directed by Sarah Schinasi and conducted by José Miguel Pérez Sierra, leading the Orquesta Filarmónica de Gran Canaria and the Coro de la Ópera de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The sets, which we will see at the Teatro Pérez Galdós of Las Palmas, come from the Festival Les Soirées Lyriques de Sanxay.
