José Bros will be Sir Edgardo di Ravenswood in the Teatro de la Maestranza production of Lucia di Lammermoor, with Maestro Renato Balsadonna conducting


One of the timeless titles in the bel canto repertory, Donizetti's Lucia di Lammermoor,  will be staged in Seville, at the Maestranza, between October 26th and November 4th. Audiences will have the opportunity to hear a cast that includes some of the Spanish singers with greatest international projection today, such as the great tenor José Bros, who has received international acclaim for his bel canto singing.

Musical direction will be in hands of Renato Balsadonna, leading the Real Orquesta Sinfónica de Sevilla and the Chorus of the Association of Friends of the Maestranza. This Deutsche Oper Berlin production has stage direction, set design and costumes by Filippo Sanjust.

The upcoming engagements of José Bros also include I Lombardi at the ABAO-OLBE. Renato Balsadonna future engagements include Mefistofele by Boito, at Teatro Filarmonico in Verona.
