Madrid’s Teatro Real presents Rossini’s “Stabat Mater” with Bass Dmitry Ulyanov as soloist

On November 14th and 16th, Madrid’s Teatro Real presents Rossini’s “Stabat Mater” as part of “Las noches del Real” program. Bass Dmitry Ulyanov will perform as a soloist, alongside an excellent cast and the Coro y Orquesta del Teatro Real (Coro Intermezzo/Orquesta Sinfónica de Madrid), conducted by Maestro Renato Palumbo. The concert program will be completed with works from Saverio Mercadante (“Sinfonía su temi dello Stabat Mater di Rossini”) and Haydn (“Symphony No. 104 in D major - London”). The singer recently performed at this theater with great success, with a different Rossini’s piece, “Il Barbiere di Siviglia” (Don Basilio). Meanwhile, Dmitry Ulyanov will play the role of Ramfis (Aida) until November 9th at Seville’s Teatro de la Maestranza, where he has received great critical and public acclaim for the shows he has already performed.
