Maestro Manuel Coves conducts Zaguán y Alento by the BNE at the Liceu of Barcelona

Zaguán y Alento, directed by Antonio Najarro and one of the Ballet Nacional de España's most successful shows, will be on stage at the Liceu on July 31st and on August 2nd and 3rd. Maestro Manuel Coves will stand before the Orquestra Simfònica del Vallès to provide live music to the ballet, which revolves around remaining loyal to tradition and also taking risks to open up new paths. Premiered at the Teatro de la Zarzuela of Madrid in 2015, Zaguán y Alento features music composed by Jesús Torres (Zaguán) and Fernando Egozcue (Alento).

In the near future Manuel Coves will be conducting Don Quijote with the Compañía Nacional de Danza at the Auditorio Baluarte of Pamplona and also Orpheus and Eurydice at the Teatro Colón of Buenos Aires.
