Manuel Coves conducts The Merry Widow ballet at Teatro Colón of Buenos Aires


From August 2nd to August 8th the Teatro Colón of Buenos Aires will offer the ballet The Merry Widow, based on the work by Franz Lehár, with musical adaptation by John Lanchberry, choreography by Ronald Hydn and revival choreography by Steven John Woodgate. All the glamour of Lehár's renowned operetta comes to life in this dance version, which is absolutely new for the Ballet Estable and will be conducted by Maestro Coves, leading the Orquesta Estable del Teatro Colón.

Manuel Coves will soon conduct Carmen, performed by the Ballet de Víctor Ullate at the Gran Teatro of Córdoba, and also The Nutcracker, performed by the Compañía Nacional de Danza at the Teatro Real of Madrid.
