Manuel Coves to conduct the Electra performed by the Ballet Nacional de España in San Cugat, Santander and Oviedo

The Ballet Nacional de España's production of Electra will be on tour in several Spanish cities under the musical direction of Maestro Manuel Coves. On March 29th and 30th he will be leading the Orquesta Sinfónica del Vallés at the Auditorio de Sant Cugat. On April 6th he will conduct the Oviedo Filarmonía at the Palacio de Exposiciones y Congresos de Santander, and on the 12th the performance will be at the Teatro Campoamor, in Oviedo. Electra, a creation of Antonio Ruz with the collaboration of dancer and choreographer Olga Pericet, uses the different languages of dance to give life to the classical tragedy with an original and contemporary vision inspired by our popular imaginary.

Manuel Coves' upcoming engagements also include the celebration of the 30th Anniversary of the Ballet de Víctor Ullate, at the Teatro Real of Madrid, and also Eterna Iberia, which is to be performed by the BNE in Murcia.
