Marcello Panni in Germany and Italy


After his success at the Berliner Symphoniker on October 7th with a program that included Schubert’s “Symphony No. 7 – Incomplete”, Chopin’s “Concert for Piano No. 2” and Brahms’s “Symphony No. 2”, Marcello Panni conducted the Orchestra Sinfonica Siciliana at Palermo’s Teatro Politeama Garibaldi on October 12th and 13th. The program included Mascagni’s “Satanic Rhapsody” during the projection of a silent movie under the same title by Nino Oxilia from 1917, musicalized by Pietro Mascagni.
