Marifé Nogales will return to the Festival Terras sem Sombra as soloist in Pergolesi’s “Stabat Mater”

On April 13th, the Festival Terras sem Sombra will present Giovanni Battista Pergolesi’s “Stabat Mater”, featuring mezzo-soprano Marifé Nogales as soloist. The concert will be staged at the Iglesia Matriz de Almodôvar, Baixo Alentejo (Portugal). The show will feature the Orquesta Concerto Moderno, soprano Raquel Alão, and César Viana as musical director. Subsequently, Marifé Nogales will be a member of the cast in Manuel Penella’s opera “El Gato Montés”, playing the role of the Gypsy. Ms. Nogales will appear in three performances — on May 6th, 7th, and 8th, at Seville’s Teatro de la Maestranza. The show has been produced by Madrid’s Teatro de La Zarzuela, where the singer also performed that role.
