Mario Corberán sings in La Traviata at the Teatro Principal of Castellón

The tenor Mario Corberán, from Valencia, interprets Alfredo Germont in La Traviata that is being staged at the Teatro Principal of Castellón on February 12th and 14th. This opera in three acts with music by Giuseppe Verdi and libretto by Francesco María Piave is based on the Alexandre Dumas novel The Lady of the Camellias and is one of Verdi’s masterpieces. Its premiere at the Teatro La Fenice on March 6th 1853 was not a success. Its second performance, one year later and also in Venice, at the Teatro San Benedetto, was a great triumph.
Mario Corberán will be on stage again soon, in the role of Prince Sergio in Katiuska, by Sorozábal, at Valencia’s Palau de la Música.
