Pietro Rizzo returns to the Finnish National Opera to conduct a new production of “Don Carlos”


Helsinki’s Finnish National Opera will house a new production of Giuseppe Verdi’s “Don Carlos”, conducted by Pietro Rizzo. This is a new production that features stage direction by Manfred Schweigkofler, in collaboration with Prague’s Czech National Opera. The conductor will come back to Helsinki’s Opera, where he has already conducted several titles of a wide repertoire, including “La Bohème”, “Il Trovatore”, “La Rondine”, “Aida”, “La Traviata”, “Don Giovanni”, or “Falstaff”. Beginning on October 19th, there will be a total of 12 performances within the next few months.
