Borodin’s “Prince Igor” at the Hamburgische Staatsoper featuring Moritz Gogg as Skula


The Hamburgische Staatsoper will house Alexander Borodin’s opera “Prince Igor” featuring baritone Moritz Gogg in the role of Skula. This is a new co-production by the Opernhaus Zürich, featuring stage direction by David Pountney. The leading role will be played by Polish baritone Andrzej Dobber. Beginning on September 15th there will be six performances. The Philharmoniker Hamburg will be conducted by its permanent director Simone Young, who will also conduct a great Festival Wagner, featuring its most important titles and the complete “Der Ring des Nibelungen” series in May 2013.
