Teatre Principal de Palma revives Los Elementos, by Antonio Literes, with mezzo Marifé Nogales in the cast

On May 17th and 18th, in Palma, we will have the opportunity to hear the mezzosoprano Marifé Nogales performing in Los Elementos, by Antonio Literes, one of Mallorca's most universal composers. The Teatre Principal presents this work –a paradigmatic example of chamber opera from the Spanish baroque period– as a co-production between Fundación Juan March and the Teatro de la Zarzuela, with staging by Tomás Muñoz. The group Forma Antiqva, led by Aarón Zapico, will be responsible for the music section, along with a great cast of female voices, including the mezzo Marifé Nogales.

Marifé Nogales' future engagements include Madama Butterfly at the Teatro Villamarta of Jerez and La valquieria at the Teatro Real of Madrid.
