The baritone Germán Olvera to participate in the concert “Haydn's godson, Mozart's friend” with Fabio Biondi and Europa Galante


On October 1st, Germán Olvera will sing with the soprano Anna Lucia Richter in a concert entitled “Haydn's godson, Mozart's friend”. They will be accompanied by the instrumental group Europa Galante, under the baton of its artistic director, the Italian Fabio Biondi, to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the birth of Haydn's godson, Joseph Weigl. The concert will include pieces by the Austrian composer and conductor, as well as music by his friends Haydn and Mozart. The concert will take place in Eisenstadt, at the Schloss Esterházy.
Among the future engagements of the Mexican baritone are Lucrezia Borgia at the ABAO-Bilbao, Thaïs (concert version) at the Gran Teatre del Liceu of Barcelona, Bomarzo at the Teatro Real of Madrid, Marina at the Teatro de la Zarzuela of Madrid and Turandot, with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra.
