The Royal Opera House of Muscat offers L’elisir d’amore, with Bruno de Simone in the role of Dulcamara


On February 17th, 19th and 20th the Royal Opera House of Muscat, Oman, is staging L’elisir d’amore, a comic opera in two acts with music by Gaetano Donizetti and libretto by Felice Romani. The Italian baritone Bruno de Simone will sing the role of Dulcamara in this production by the Teatro La Fenice, which will be directed Bepi Morassi and conducted by Fabrizio Carminati. Other members of the cast are Francesco Demuro as Nemorino, Rocio Ignacio as Adina, Roberto de Candia as Becore and Arianna Donadelli as Giannetta.
We will have the chance to see Bruno de Simone again soon at Milan’s La Scala, in La cena delle Beffe and also in the Ópera di Roma, in Linda di Chamounix.
