The soprano Mariola Cantarero will be featured in one of the concerts celebrating the centennial of the Banda Municipal de Granada


The Banda Municipal de Música de Granada is turning 100 years old. For this reason, it has scheduled a series of extraordinary concerts with the participation of the most prestigious composers, musicians and conductors of Granada, a group that includes the conductors Pablo Heras Casado and Miguel Ángel Gómez Martínez and the soprano Mariola Cantarero. The latter will be the star of the programme set for November 19th which will be held in the Auditorio Manuel de Falla. The soprano will interpret pieces from operas by Puccini, Bellini, Catalini and Gounod, and also zarzuela pieces by Giménez, Serrano, Caballero and Vives, all guided by the conductor of the band, Maestro Sánchez Ruzafa.
Mariola Cantarero will also be taking part in the November 26th concert under the baton of Maestro Miguel Ángel Gómez Martínez. And shortly thereafter we will be able to see her in The Tempest at the Teatro de la Zarzuela and in Fuenteovejuna at the Ópera de Oviedo.
