Marianne Cornetti will sing the role of Princess de Bouillon in Adriana Lecouvreur, an opera in four acts with music by Francesco Cilea and libretto by Arturo Colautti. This production by the Teatro Sociale di Como will be on the stage of the Teatro Massimo di Palermo between October 13th and 22nd. Conducting will be by Daniel Oren, at the helm of the Orchestra e Coro del Teatro Massimo, while stage direction will be in the hands of Ivan Stefanutti. Cornetti will be accompanied on stage by singers of the stature of Martin Muehle (Maurice de Saxe), Carlo Striuli (Prince de Bouillon), Luca Casalin (Abbé of Chazeuil) and Nicola Alaimo (Michonnet), among others.
We will have the chance to see the American mezzo again soon in Gianni Schicchi and L’enfant e les Sortiléges in several theatres in Japan and also in Un Ballo in Maschera at the Bolshoi Theatre of Moscow.
