The Teatro Real presents the 2018/19 season in which Gregory Kunde, Lianna Haroutounian, Ruth Iniesta and José Bros will perform


On April 10th the Teatro Real presented its programme for the 2018/19 season, the culmination of its celebration of the 200 years since its founding. Along with other parts of the programming, the new productions to be staged next season in Madrid were announced. They include Turandot, the last opera by Giacomo Puccini, which will have a stellar cast headed, among others, by the American tenor Gregory Kunde, as Calaf. The soprano Lianna Haroutounian will sing the role of Leonora in Il Trovatore, by Verdi, alongside other great Verdian stars. Soprano Ruth Iniesta will sing in another great work by Verdi, Falstaff, giving life to Nannetta.
And on April 26th, the tenor José Bros will give a concert, in which he will sing with the Orquesta Titular del Teatro Real led by José María Moreno. He will perform pieces by Chapí, Sorozábal, Vives, Soutullo, Vert, Moreno Torroba, Asenjo Barbieri and Guerrero, among others.
