Theater Koblenz stages La Cenerentola with Alfonso Romero Mora as stage director


From September 15th through January 6th the Theater Koblenz will be staging Gioacchino Rossini’s comic opera La Cenerentola. The stage director for this new production of the German theatre will be Alfonso Romero Mora. The musical director will be Mino Marani leading the Staatsorchester Rheinische Philharmonie and a cast formed by Leonardo Ferrando (Don Ramiro), Christoph Plessers (Dandini), Eugenio Leggiadri-Gallani (Don Magnifico) and Hanna Lee (Clorinda), among others.

Romero Mora has worked at the Theater Koblenz in the past: in September of 2016 he directed a new production of Le nozze di Figaro to great critical and popular success.

His upcoming engagements include Otello, at the Auditorio Baluarte of Pamplona and at the Teatro Cervantes of Málaga, and also Andrea Chénier, at the Teatro de la Maestranza of Seville.
