Vasily Petrenko conducts Joshua Bell and the San Francisco Symphony in performances of works by Glinka, Lalo and Rachmaninoff


From June 15th to 18th, the Russian conductor Vasily Petrenko will stand before the San Francisco Symphony to conduct a programme comprised of the following works: Capriccio brillante on the Jota Aragonesa by Glinka, Lalo's Symphonie espagnole, with the violinist Joshua Bell as soloist, and Rachmaninoff's Symphony No. 1. The concerts will take place at the Davies Symphony Hall of San Francisco.
And on June 22nd and 23rd, Vasily Petrenko will conduct the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra with a programme that includes works by Stravinsky – Circus Polka and Petrushka – and Tchaikovsky – Violin Concerto in D major, op. 35 – with Ray Chen as soloist. The concerts will be held at Liverpool's Philharmonic Hall.
