Vasily Petrenko conducts Tchaikovsky with the London Philharmonic Orchestra

On February 24th Vasily Petrenko will hold the baton before the London Philharmonic Orchestra, at the Royal Festival Hall, with a programme devoted entirely to Tchaikovsky. The audience will hear the Violin Concerto in D Major, Op. 35, with the Italian violin virtuoso Augustin Hadelich as soloist, and also the Manfred Symphony in B Minor, op. 58.
Prior to this concert, on February 18th and 19th, Maestro Petrenko will be leading the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, of which he is resident conductor, in performances of works by Jackson, Prokofiev, Ravel and Debussy. And from March 3rd to 13th he will be conducting his other orchestra, the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra, on a tour to various concert halls in the United Kingdom.
