Vicenç Esteve takes part in Le nozze di Figaro, a new production by the Gran Teatre del Liceu of Barcelona


From November 7th to 20th we will have the opportunity to see, on the stage of Barcelona's Liceu, Le nozze di Figaro, an opera buffa in four acts by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, with libretto by Lorenzo da Ponte. Lluís Pasqual is in charge of the stage direction of this co-production with the Welsh National Opera (Cardiff). Scenography is by Paco Azorín. The musical direction is in the hands of Josep Pons, who will be conducting the Orquesta Sinfónica and Coro del Gran Teatre del Liceu. In addition to Vicenç Esteve, the singers Gyula Orendt (Count Almaviva), Olga Mykytenko (Countess Almaviva), Mojca Erdmann/Elena Copons (Susanna), Kyke Ketelsen (Figaro), among others, are taking part in this production.
Vicenç Esteve has performed recently in Luisa Fernanda (Les Arts de Valencia); in Norma (Teatro de la Maestranza); in Otello (Teatro Campoamor de Oviedo, ABAO-Bilbao, Peralada Festival, Liceu and Teatro Real); Parsifal (Teatro Real) and Turandot (Peralada Festival).
